Australia has some of the best beaches in the world. But there's something special the way the French bring that je ne Sais quoi right up to waters edge. There's no leaving civilisation at the car park and hot-footing it to the waters edge. Aperol Spritz on the beach? No problem. Facial mist without leaving your perfectly sun-oriented lounger? Oui Madame.
Multi award-winning Les Roches Rouges is the perfect example of French seaside style. A delapidated 1950s seaside resort was completely renovated by Festen Architecture to offer 49 rooms of 'barefoot luxury'.
Perfectly located just an hours' drive from Nice on the Cote d'Azur, Les Roches Rouges is situated below a rocky cliff at sea level, with both fresh water and salt water pools.
With unintterupted sea views, the rooms exude a pared-back, vintage style with a fresh, simple palette of burnt orange and white.
